Fabulous place to hang out in St Leonards. Bayte offers great cocktails, wines and food, depending on what kind of culinary experience you want it to be. All the food we had was well presented and cooked to perfection including the fish dishes we ordered. The Pork and pigeon dishes were an excellent choice too as I have never tasted anything like it. Highly, highly recommended, book to avoid disappointment.

This place just gets it right. For a modern relaxed quality bistro, to get the decor, vibe, service and food all spot on is hard enough, but achieving consistent balance, THAT is a real skill. All credit to classy & helpful team under manager Molly and kitchen team . Bayte has settled down into being -no argument?- the best place in Hasting Saint Leonards...

Had 'pasta night' on a Monday, with a small but carefully selected menu. Absolutely delicious. Savoured every mouthful, and everyone was in agreement. Attentive and efficient service in an airy and spacious environment.

We had an early lunch here. The food was absolutely amazing. Wonderful fresh tastes. Really lovely ingredients prepared with a light touch. Service was super, attentive and friendly. All in all a memorable meal and a special place. Can’t wait to go back and introduce family and friends to Bayte.

A very good restaurant on the Kings Road St Leonards on Sea. Very close to the station and this is restaurant opened in 2023. The menu is excellent with lots of choices for all dietary requirements. The service is good with lots of tables and the space is decorated nicely. I had a lamb main which was delicious and a fish in sauce which again was superb Good choice of drinks lots of wine and i would recommend a visit here
